Q: What happens after we pay our retainer fee?
A: When we receive your retainer fee your wedding date and time will be secured. We will send an email confirming the date and time of your wedding. Then the planing process begins when you are ready.
Q: When is the balance due:
A: Your balance or final payment will be due no later then 30 days before the wedding if you are writting a check. Most couples prefer to pay by cash at the rehearsal or before the start of the ceremony.
Q: Are there any additional charges for mileage?
A: I do not charge for travel fee up to 40 miles from my home zip code. I may have to charge something over that ,we can discuss it when we meet.
Q: Do you require premarital?
A: I do not require premarital, but I do put a high value on it. Going thru good premarital program can be a great asset. it can give you the tools you need to help you make your marriage one that is happy and long lasting. I know of a great program I can recommend.
Q: May we write our own vows?
A: Yes you can. Writing your own vows can be a great way to personalize your wedding ceremony. I can help with some resources to help you.
Q: May my family and friends take part in the ceremony?
A: I encourage you to include others in your ceremony. If you have children I have some great ways to include them.
Q: Does your weddings include a sermon or wedding charge?
A: My weddings do include an optional wedding charge. When you get your ceremony design packet, read it and decide if it is right for your wedding.
Q: What will you wear to preform our wedding?
A: I usually wear a black suit, I also have a black clergy robe with a white wedding stole. I am also open to something less formal for casual settings.
Q: How long does a typical wedding last?
A: My Short and Sweet ceremony usually last 5 to 10 minutes depending on the size of your wedding party and the length of your isle. Your Dream Wedding is between 12 to 25 minutes.
Q: Do you use a contract?
A: Yes I use a contract because it protect us both. It puts in writing my commitment to your ceremony and yours to me as your officiant. It helps to eliminate any misunderstandings which can lead to hurt feelings
Q: What happens if we need to reschedule our wedding?
A: I will work with you to choose a new date and time in which I am available at no additional cost.
